Recipe: Broccoli microgreens smoothie

- 1 cup broccoli microgreens

- 1 ripe banana

- 1 cup spinach leaves

- 1 cup almond milk (or any other plant-based milk)

- 1 tablespoon chia seeds

- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

- 1/2 cup ice cubes (optional)


1. Wash the broccoli microgreens and spinach leaves.

2. Peel and slice the banana.

3. In a blender, combine the broccoli microgreens, spinach leaves, banana slices, almond milk, chia seeds, and sweetener (if desired).

4. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

5. Add the ice cubes (if using) and continue blending until the smoothie reaches your desired consistency.

6. Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness or thickness as desired. You can add more sweetener or almond milk if needed.

7. Pour the smoothie into a glass and serve immediately.
