Big Shot: The Wild Fermented Microgreen Shot Redefining Nutrition

We started with a big goal: take the nutrient-dense microgreens we already grow — and turn them into something even more powerful. Something that didn’t just taste good or tick a health box — but could actually make a difference. Something that was alive. Functional. And could be delivered to more people, beyond our local patch.

So we did something that (as far as we can tell) no one else has done: we created the UK’s first wild-fermented microgreen shot.

And it’s finally here. Meet Big Shot.

Why We Created a Wild Fermented Microgreen Shot — And What Makes It Different

We already knew microgreens were special. They can contain up to 40x more nutrients than their fully grown counterparts (according to research much cleverer people than us have done). They’re packed with sulforaphane, antioxidants, and phytochemicals that support everything from gut health to inflammation, energy, immune function and even hormonal balance.

But fresh microgreens are delicate. They don’t travel far. And cold-pressing them into a juice gave us a product with just 5–7 days of shelf life. That’s not long enough to make a meaningful difference or build a habit.

So we got curious. We started experimenting. We tested different combinations and processes, all by hand, in small batches. Eventually, we landed on what we’d been dancing around all along: wild fermentation.

Wild fermentation is a traditional, natural process — no commercial starter cultures, no additives, no preservatives. Just time, the right conditions, and the naturally occurring bacteria found on our ingredients. It’s anaerobic (no oxygen), and when done properly, it transforms nutrition.

It also takes that short 5–7 day shelf life and extends it up to 4 weeks — without needing anything synthetic.

What’s Inside Big Shot?

Each 30ml bottle is handcrafted and hand-poured by us, using our microgreens grown from organic seeds.

A full punnet of fresh microgreens in each bottle of Big Shot - cold pressed and wild fermented

No filler. No fluff.

Inside you’ll find:

  • A full small punnet’s worth of microgreens

  • Broccoli (our hero, richest in sulforaphane)

  • Sunflower, radish, red cabbage, and pea shoots

  • Cold-pressed with raw apple cider vinegar (with the mother), apple, lemon juice, ginger, and sea salt

Nothing diluted. Nothing sweetened. Just concentrated greens goodness, fermented to unlock bioavailability and naturally preserve.

It’s not a juice. Not a supplement. It’s food — just supercharged.

What It’s For

This isn’t about chasing the next health trend. It’s about supporting real health, in real life.

Big Shot is designed to:

  • Support your gut with naturally occurring postbiotics

  • Improve energy, focus, and resilience

  • Help regulate inflammation and support immune balance

  • Be a genuinely easy daily habit (just 30 seconds — no prep, no faff)

And yes — 30ml is enough. Because what’s inside it is potent.
